Can you post a picture? No such thing on a stock Fiat as far as I know. Not on the tranny hump itself and certainly not on the passenger side.

This site is focused on the Fiat 124 Spiders built in Italy between 1967-1985. The 2017 Fiat Spider built in Japan is unrelated except in name. It's always a good idea to identify the year and model of your car when posting questions about a Fiat Spider. These sites should get you closer to an answer about your car:
