Wow, I saw 2 124 Coupes, a whole lot of 131s, some 128s, a '74 X1/9 and a pininfarina hardtop on one of the 124 Spiders. I'd love to have that hard top...and the 124 Coupes....

Cool. I figured that forum members might like to see these pictures of all those intact cars!
Englewood, CO is just slightly south of Denver proper,...easy to get to, RaneeHobbs!! I've threatened to buy a couple of the cars already, but I don't have the dollars,...right now. I'm savin' up, though!
What worries me is the thought that, if just Tom and his daughter are running this business, what happens in the next years when Tom decides he's not going to do this anymore? Ya think someone will buy up a whole yard of intact Fiats and a collection of thousands of parts?
Auction, I'd guess,...
I figure that I had better move fairly promptly in the next few years, or miss the opportunity.

Sh**!

Am i too late to ask for the VINs of the discovered 124 Spiders? Are you planning a next visit of the Yard?
Would be great to get the VINs for our worldwide Spider registry at fiatspider.de, where more than 12,000 cars are listed.

Ciao,

Considering that Tom's "goal in life" seems to be to find homes for the Fiats that are adoptable, I would guess that a simple call to him with the request would get you a return call with the VINs of those cars. Try fiatrescue@yahoo.com. Or 303-934-8679,...tell him who you are and ask him what he knows about Fiats.
My gosh! There are just SO many cars that could be put back on the road!
Perhaps I need to register my VIN at fiatspider.de,...
If I return (and that is quite possible), I'll see what I can 'pencil-rub', photograph, or get from Tom,...
As I stated previously, there could be 30 - 40 cars there. Not all Spiders, of course.
And the collection of parts is MASSIVE!
Glad you saw this post!

Hi,
sorry to say: no answer from Tom to my mail! So if you are planning a second visit, just photograph each car and the VIN plate at the door lock at Drivers side. This will be enough to include each car in the registry.

If you would register your car at our side it will be the 113th car from Colorado! 8)

Ralf

I'd love to register my car, but my German is really rusty. Only the home page will translate,...
If I make it down there again, I will get pics, record VINs, or get rubbings of as many as I can. There's a lot!

I'm pretty sure that I was successful in creating a new account (too many pages with too much german, despite electronic translation). I hope to hear back so that I can register.
