34 DMSA Carburetor Kit - Question for Vendor

Postby HighLife » Sun Nov 12, 2017 9:23 pm

Hello

Needing to order a rebuild kit for my 1974 34 DMSA carb and I see you have one listed on your website: http://www.vickauto.com/newstore/index. ... ts_id=2597

Is this a Weber kit or an aftermarket kit?

Do you have a list of what is in the rebuilt kit? I believe I am leaking from the area under the WEBER name - it has a small lever protruding out and 4 screws (holds a spring and a membrane) - no idea what it is called - cannot post a picture here either. I want to make sure I get the correct kit.

The carburetor kits are aftermarket. They are what's referred to as "minor kits." The kits come with gaskets, accelerator pump diaphragm, and new needle and seat.

I believe there is a post somewhere on this site about how to add photos. Or you can email us at info@vickauto.com.

Sounds like your accelerator pump is leaking. Get the kit.

Just had to follow up as I am not used to this type of service.

I ordered the parts (7 SKU's) from VickAuto on Tues Nov 13 - received a confirmation email that afternoon. Product shipped.

I walked out to get in my car this mid-morning and I had a box sitting on my front stoop... from Vick Auto.. :o

with a catalog :D

Super fast shipping - way above my expectations.

Thank you!
