Re: New CNC Machined Cam Tower Covers
How about some custom door seal plates out of some aluminum flat bar (33 1/4 x 2 1/2”)?.

Beautiful work!
I really want some custom things like this for my car (when I get to that stage... i.e. after it's running again)

I got the material prepped. Going to machine one tomorrow.
Decided to make "blanks" with nothing on top then if someone wanted one can add whatever is wanted on top.

Looks great!
Might be cool if the bolt holes were recessed just right so its harder to over/under tighten the cover.
Something like the engine here:

These are what I plan on making for the thumb bolts. Dont plan to tighten very much as there will be a very nice seal on them and use a spanner wrench that wont allow for a whole lot of torque.

I have enough material cut to make 20 sets of the valve covers. I was working with another member on making a cover that went over the center but he has went silent on me.

Solidworks
The last picture shows it flat as just a visual. I had asked for some dimensions of the head so I could get the angles correct and get the mating surfaces perfected but have not gotten any help on it.
I am pretty sure I mentioned before that I dont even have a head for my motor. I had sent my head, cams, towers, etc (Plus $1100) to Daniel Arnote in CA years ago and he was going to make me a high performance head. He ran with my money and parts, didnt hear from him after he strung me along for almost 2 years.

Matt, I’m sorry to hear about your misfortune.
Do you need a head? I’ve got a bone stock 2L head that I’d let go for a very reasonable price. It needs a refresh but is a good starting point.

Love love the centre cover. I'd remove the name, just spin and enlarge the scorpion....
Folks willing to prepay rarely go silent. Cost on this?

Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas, and oil, we have decided to turn off the light at the end of the tunnel. We apologize for any inconvenience.

That was designed specifically as requested. Not something I designed for myself.
Are you asking about just the center or the whole thing as one?
