Brake Line Placement on Master Cylinder

Postby RRoller123 » Mon Apr 17, 2017 1:28 pm

I am replacing the Vacuum Booster, Master Cylinder and Brake Lines and like a nitwit I didn't record which brake line goes where on the Master Cylinder. Of course I have already removed the old lines. There are three (3) lines: Front Left, Front Right, Rear. The Master Cylinder has a set of two positions that are side by side, and a single one that sits forward by itself on the cylinder. From old pics I have of my engine compartment, it looks like the Front Left goes in the Single Position, and The Front Right and Rear go in the Side-By-Side position?

aside: Master Cylinder painted with rattle can self-etching primer, and silver ceramic engine paint.

two that are side by side are front, single one is rear.
if it was connected like you said, that's not from factory and is very dangerous

Thank you! I am pretty sure, sort of sure.. that it was connected that way, so doing the whole system over has an added benefit! It makes sense that the two front connections would come from the same chamber.
