Hood spring question

Postby Akgriffith » Thu Jun 08, 2017 1:17 pm

Hello all. I need to know the size of the blot which holds the hood spring to the hood. The one I have circled in the picture. I'm missing that bolt and need to find a replacement.

Anybody out there know the size of that bolt, or possibly have an old one laying around? Thanks

I may have one on my "extra" hood.
I'll check when I get home this evening. If I have it, will send it.

I can size out the bolt if you have the round guide in the hood prop

I do have the round guide. If you could tell me the size that's all I would need and I could buy a new bolt. Thanks again!

I just got the bolt a sleeve and 2 washers that will work
PO your address and I will send in the mail tomorrow. Mom was a lot easier just to spend a couple of bucks and get the stuff there was try to tell you what it is. It matches up with mine just fine. So it should work perfectly.
