Hi folks,

after nearly 2 years of work( some delivery breaks included

) I allready finished my Spider-project.

That came out beautifully! Nice job. I really like the red piping on the interior.

Are those Recaro seats?

Hopefully in a couple of years I'll be able to get near what you've done!

Very Impressive, good job. I am 6 months into my restoration and my plans for my 79 are to get the same exterior look as yours. The interior will be light color. I am hopping to finish my restoration in one year. Your picture gives me more motivation to finish mine. What red did you use?

to aj81spider: yes Sir, that´s Recaros. I bought them at ebay and they are the reasion for the black/red combination at the interieur.
to lm48: it is corso rosso Michael Schuhmacher ´96.
to So Cal Mark: yes its legal in Germany without bumpers.

You are legal without bumpers but you have to have the over all length of the car in the registration papers changed.
So you have to go to the TÜV and have it inspected and pay a fee of course.

Nice work Mattias, I Iike the dashboard, is it leatherette (Kunstleder) or did you paint it?

The car looks very neat and tidy. The pics on flicker sure show the attention to detail you have done. Wheels look very volumex.
Stock engine?
Going to be a real head turner when you're out and about.

I really like the steering wheel, the chrome gauges, shifter knob, and the black colored interior. These cars look great with black interiors, seems like all the ones I see are tan.
