
The body of the unit fits nicely in the glove box. I mounted the head unit where most folks install CD players and such.

To get back to shifters, I've had 2 models of these machined, set-screw retained shifters and both of them made so much rattle noise I went back to the stock chrome shifter. I'm wondering if any of you who went with these - did you have the rattling and if so, did you find any way to stop it or do you just put up with it?tartan18 wrote:or go with a shorter one. You can see the small allen set screws that secure the new (shorter) shaft. The short shaft has threads for the knob.
