Stripped New Bleed Screw...crap

Thought this morning I was ending my too-long-taking brake job(my first time working on brakes) by bleeding my brakes but things didn't go as plan... It feels like it's taking forever!

I had ordered all new bleed screws from IAP but for some strange reason they don't seem to be the correct type as they won't tighten all the way down. I tried to install them on the rear calipers and was determined to try to get it to seat but when I tried to remove it the head got stripped so now I gotta figure out to extract the poor destroyed screw out. Vice grips just destroyed it further! Any methods to extract it?

BTW, who sells the correct type bleed screws?

To remove the broken bleeder the tool you are looking for is called an EASY-OUT, EASYOUT, EZ OUT, EZY OUT, BOLT AND STUD EXTRACTOR. They are available in kits with diffferent sizes. You can get hem at Sears, Napa Autoparts and others. If you Google it you will find lots of options and instructions on using them. Typically you drill a hole in the screw or bolt to be removed and use the corresponding easyout to reverse the screw out. You can also find videos on Youtube.

I assume you are saying the nut part of the bleeder is rounded off and now the wrench slips.
If that is the cars have you tried the proper size 6 point socket?? The bleeders on my 81 are 8mm. If the socket will not go on because the bleeder is rounded you might get it on by tapping it on with a hammer.
Vice grips make a special tool, it looks similar to vice grips and operates similar but is designed specifically to remove rounded nuts. You can find them at better hardware stores.

Thanks guys I did get it out today with a bolt-out extractor from good ole Sears but I'm still having trouble with the bleed screws not closing.
